I am pretty sure you cannot SLI different cards you might get away with it cause it's the same series but I am unsure and if you get it to work it will be extremely faffy

You cant use 2 different cards anymore.
Before you could run graphs and physics in other, but you cant run graphics on diferent cards

Honestly, go sell both your 980ti and 970 and get a 1080.

^my 980ti is used and overclocked so i dont think I get that much for it and i'll have a down time where i can't play

Then the remaning option is selling the 970 and getting somthing for your pc; good mouse,keyboard, SSD etc. But I still think that if you can invest some money you should buy a 1080. Its a beast on even 1440; ~60 fps ultra on 1440p even on the likes of witcher 3

Not only does it looks sick its gameplay and story is sick as well. I have been gaming for almost 12-13 years, the quality of story in side quests exceeds the quality of main story of most games.
