he plays dota in an extremely ineffective manner and either doesnt realize or doesnt care
top heroes rubick+windrunner at 2k = one of those do-nothing fucks who thinks he will make plays but is useless all game
the archetype for this kind of players is a ~40 y.o., any gender, doesnt give a fuck about improvement/competitiveness. i wouldnt say this attitude is worse than average, cz its actually a healthier one even despite the amount of games played.
Maybe they just want to have fun with the game and don't care aboit grinding mmr? It is a game, and meant to be fun ;)
He just having fun....a lot of fun 12000games😃 ...but hell yeah that manta on SS 😃that was a lot of fun i guess
Different things are fun for different people I have fun trying to win and get rewarded with harder games which in turn means more fun for me trying to win . Other people get enjoyment from different things.
i had play with a guy who has over 10000 match and he can't last hit as sf and fail raze
Probably no job and a reliable source of income/ stashed away money so all he does is dota, shit, sleep
Can't be a very rewarding lifestyle, but beats working I guess
I'm not gaining mmr much either though and I've got decent number of games. He's probably got his finger on the random button like I do.
At what point could this be healthier?, maybe in the fact that he doesn't give a shit about win/losses. but it's just an assumption . I mean you have to play every fucking day 12 hours a day to reach that amount of games. Being sedentary is not healthy from my point of view.
Also playing a game practicly the whole day is fun?
at some point I feel sorry for that guy.
Check his recent 3 month activity. This dude never misses a day and plays on average 10 games a day-.-
Its hard to accept the fact that theres some people who dont care about getting good in dota. When i ask them to learn dota they said that they dont care about getting good in dota. They play dota for fun. Well, let them be. Theres nothin we can do for them. If yur good at this game you wont be meeting people like these anyways. Unless, theyre a friend of yours. You can always decline their party invite anyways.
The archetype is someone in their 40s? Are you joking? Only if they live in their mom's basement, what 40 year old has time for that many games? It's probably some depressed high school kid who uses video games as escapism from daily life and just doesn't really care if they win or what not. Tons of people do this with all sorts of internet things, other video games, facebook, whatever
Why does it matter if he has 10k games and low mmr? He's probably having fun and it's not hurting any of us.
Dota is really complex. The more games u play doesn't necessarily mean u get better. Some concepts are obscure and can't be readily learned through experience.
Come on guys.. This is a kid who has cancer and doesn't give a fuck about MMR. There was even a time of 3 months he couldn't play because well he was fighting hard for his life and almost died. Leave him alone.
Moral of the story: Don't judge people, especially when you don't know their story.
You have to understand that bracket, this is my low mmr acc, but I also have 3k acc and 4k acc, I also can get VHS in match every time without fail on a new acc.
What I learned from smurfing in 1k mmr:
50% of the player base are smurfs, 30% are toll only acc, 20% are either new players or genuiune 1k players. This is why 1k players are so stuck. Every match they play has 5 smurfs who are alot more skilled, and 2-3 trolls who build 3 stout shields to laugh and flame everyone cause they made the acc only for trolling 1kbies.
also player behaviour score is big in this bracket, since they are so so many troll accs who have behavior scores of 6000, if you get reported alot your gonna matched more with the troll accs who also get reported alot, making it harder to win.
^I remember in this acc (real acc) i climb 1,2k to 2k less than 1 month (after playing lot normal match and git gud a little)
^^ "You have to understand that bracket, this is my low mmr acc, but I also have 3k acc and 4k acc, I also can get VHS in match every time without fail on a new acc."
LOL!! Cool story.
