Really Good. To you. You judge relative to your personal limited experience. Your "social circle" (if we can call it that in dota) is limited. Just like life, if you're a low achieving loser, you will be forced to look in the mirror and hang around useless losers. If you're mediocre, no one with power will grace themselves with your presence, they have better things to do with better people. They basically don't exist in your world.
The game is the game. If you can't get out of normal skill, someone else can. Their gameplay is really, really good. Not just really good. Those people make the game by being them, and you leave yourself in your hierarchical order by being you.
There are no participation points. The only person who will care that you tried and that you're slightly better than people in your hierarchy, is you, and other people who will feign it to maintain their image. You either have it, or you don't. No one will ever care about someone who is mediocre, you're no higher on the hierarchy than a piece of garbage with a cum stain on it. Be super impressive at what you do, or be nothing in this life.
Now, if you were going 30/0/10 on WD with a dagon 5 and an eblade, and styling on people, that's great.
11.5 cs/min in a 45 minute game, 13k tower damage, 1 death, 22 kills. That's great.
Now, if this performance was spotty, and you only did this 1/6 games, yet the other are mediocre. Is that great? Is that... really good? Not really. It means you're inconsistent and rely more on luck and bad enemies.
You shouldn't be proud to go 9/8/9 and lose as SF in Normal Skill.
You shouldn't be proud of 14/3 as TA in Normal Skill. That should be your minimum, if anything.

Is there a medal limit you can get if your account 2018? Some people said you can only get 3.5 legend 2? but it said you can even get ancient or divine by playing strong performance solo q. some players played 3month's ago ya account and got ancient 0 medal with 300 matches or 200. They basis your game in calibration by performance? not in total number of matches you have played? Then possible to get any medal rank? thanks for those who will answer!
im having problem with mine stil in normal skill well its hard to play support like having 250-300 gpm...even tho my winning is in 60%

i happen to have bugged i think well i dont really know. i played jug at highskill and after an hour it turns into normal bracket..idk what happen...
your hidden/nonranked mmr can changed by a ton in one game, changing the average mmr of a game, dropping it to normal skill
Sure, if you got 1 clown in team even you good, you wont win.. So pray before the match you didnt meet retard on your team dude.
