In my dota profile , there are 1200matches, but only 75x matches counted in the database of databuff.

the 500 matches are still missing

update does take a while after you turned it on, especially if you're missing a high number of matches. Be patient!

after 2 days, the matches are still missing lol

an admin said one day that they can only fetch the latest 500 matches. so you're kinda screwed
