and about high/ very high bracket. Before it was removed i checked ur brackets and u were always on normal and normal is the lowest u bob
*disclaimer* I'm the mid player for OA, and it's my job to make sure that I can take anyone in a 1v1 scenario.
I'm not going for petty when I ask people to 5v5 cm us, or 1v1 me, I'm simply stating that unless they can backup their shit talk with actual play, they should take their posts elsewhere.
As for the team, we're all interested in the same thing, having fun with friends, and forming an unstoppable force of TEAMWORK.
Forgive our bias towards people who have more games played. We do not mean to talk down to anyone, nor do we hold players with higher wins on a pedestal, however we have a team to think of, and if your performance is not up to the level at which the other players of our team perform at daily, then we cannot accept you into the team.
And back to the haters/sour players. No offense, but it doesn't help that you keep bombarding this thread with hate, we don't dislike you personally, and normally we aren't as off the handle with our conduct. But you have to understand that we've been devoting a lot of time and effort to try out many applicants, and keep an open mind with each individual player. (Simply put, we don't dislike you, we dislike your attitude/hate speech.)
On the bright side, we're still looking for #3 and #4 applicants, if anyone would like to have a tryout they can add me, as I said earlier, only add me if you have a complete understanding of dota, and are willing to be taught/be polite.
I will ignore all the hate speech in the past 3 pages of posts.
Reaper/Symbol: Ive been playing DOTA since 2007 where I played main ganker for my UCB team in college. At that time I played around 70 hrs/week. I was in the Dota 2 Beta, but after that, chose to pursue a professional baseball career. I have just got back into Dota 2 in the last couple months and have been quickly re-adapting to the ever-changing Meta that is Dota. I have been playing mostly captains mode games in solo que and its gotten to a point that I absolutely hate playing pub matches. Nobody plays their roles properly and though i hve some good friends online I need to start playing with a team or at least with a core group that can play consistently and for long periods of time together.
I am very confident in my support roles, as well as carries, but i know that Reaper is the carry and that's perfect with me. My first hero mastered was vengeful and from there continued with all the dota 1 supports before ever learning nay carries anyways.
Though i cannot promise anything like 100 hours per 2 weeks, i am on enough to play with people that have schedules like it seems you guys have.
add me if you want to see how i play with a team that knows what hey are doing.
