Im not sharing internet with anyone, my internet is good secured.
This lag only shows in DOTA2. Any other online game i play i dont have any lag issue's.
Can the problem be in my .cfg?
I don't know if I had the same issue as you but, when we got a different modem I started getting these lag stutters every 3-5 seconds, even though the connection was fine. I fixed it by connecting to the modem with a wire instead of using the wifi. I don't know if this will help but worth a try.
I have really big FPS issues and sometimes i have lag issues too, but that is because my internet sucks.
Its called rubber banding and they were supposed to have fixed this in a patch not that long ago. A good thing to do is keep an eye on your console to see what the game is doing

Is it possible I can have screenshot of your console (tilde while in game) and your network activity (ctrl+shift+esc) if this starts happening again?
Try alternating the "network quality" option to low, this will reduce the amount of packets you are sent while in game which may help if servers are undergoing updates. A lot of people have been having this issue recently due to the high volume of people online during the diretide start-up and the diretide patching and re-patching.
Might be worth just waiting it out cause fiddling with settings might in the long run make it worse if it fixes itself.
I had issues like this but a lot less often (usually 2-3 times per match) when I used wifi. When I turned to cable I never had an issue since. You are not using wireless are u?

Hi there fellow DOTA2 players.
Sinds 3 days ago i have these weird lagspikes in DOTA2.
I quadriple checked if i didnt had something running on the background.
The most weird part of it, is that i only have these insane lag issue's in DOTA2, and not in other games.
My MS shoots skyhigh from 60ms to 1900 ms !

These lagspikes last for about 6 seconds and then slowly fade away.
But after 20 seconds~ i have these spikes again..
Can anyone PLEASE help me? :(
