There's a huge market for 3k tryhards who believe they are 5k. So them buying these accounts make them feel like they are actually that good or better. It was bound to happen unless Valve crack down on multiple account usage and do IP bans and also harsher punishment for habitual abandoner/trolls.

Nah, his is just a new account that he escalated with the compendium buff. He didn't buy the account he is just far higher than he should be so will continue to keep it at a 50% win rate where he will either get carried or throw the game.

im not sure man... someone who cant maintain %50 winrate on 5.5k mmr looks like an account buyer to me.
