I still actually do hama bead stuff, good way to pass ones time when queuing. I usually have a pegboard nearby where I work on stuff bit by bit as I game. I think you can make a lot of kewl 8-bit stuff if you know how to mock up the patterns etc.
Ohhh I'm super jealous. I wanted to get into that but I didn't ever get around to starting. Haha that's really dope.

Errr, the first cuff I made took about 4 hours of reading a guide and threading. Now I can design in 10-15 and weave one out in about 45 minutes (10-13 lines of bead, 32 beads in length is average) if Im focused but like havoc said, I normally just do what I can *A line or two of weave* during queue times.
Havocs designs I imagine take much longer.
However, designs come in different shapes and sizes. It depends on what you make. #Picture related.

So before getting in to anything really I just wanted to explain a bit about what these are before I got into going through with it haha. So if you have visited this thread you would know that I have a pretty vivid taste for music. One of my favorites is "Techno" or "EDM" as it is more commonly called. Basically the rave scene in general is what I do for "fun". We go and dance and *Cough* Recreational activities*Cough* whether this would be at actual raves or at anime convention raves. (Not raves).
HOWEVER. In the rave-ish scene there are several hobbies one can acquire, whether it be glowstringing, free hand, dancing, drugs or whatever. I do it all for the most part and one of the more common ones is sharing Kandi. Which looks like this.
No it's not actually candy, it's just a nickname it received. People spend a shit load of time making these little bead bracelets and what not. They're hand crafted and can't really be manufactured since it's basically low grade thread weaving. Anyway, you can trade them for other people's creations, or for anything else really in a rave scene. I usually pack a backpack of the shit and hand it out, occasionally trading for drinks or food since #Free is good. You basically can give or trade kandi away as a sign of kindness since the rave community is all about "plur" (Peace Love Unity Respect) which if you might have been able to notice is why I turn my cheek to alot of the common trolls on these forums *Wave&Hael*. Anyway...
