objectively, he is simply a successful person. how he achieved that - through people who appreciate his content. To them the value of the content is worth whatever they are donating to him.
Now appreciation of his content is subjective, just like anything in the world. Obviously there are haters. But it makes no fucking sense to insult people who appreciate his content and are willing to help him out because of that.
