General DiscussionDota 2 Pickup matches

I was talking to a top COD player last night ( who used to play dota 2 ) and he was telling me about something called "pickup matches" where the match is setup by a admin and 10 player join ,often the games are more competitve and team oriented almost like scrims but with people you generally do not know.

I couldn't find any info on this topic on the internet so I wanted to ask the Dotabuff community if they had any expiernece with Pickup matches or know where to find them/join them
