If you always random your MMR is a reflection of that, you will hover at an appropriate rank to continue randoming.

You might go up further by not randoming but it's only really a "problem" (unfair to your team) if you pick only heroes you are good at to attain a higher MMR than you would have by randoming constantly, and THEN randoming (and in solo queue; obviously if you're 5-stacking then nothing is unfair to your team, they know what to expect).
