he's far frmo broken, but a good roaming duo with pudge is strong. I've seen that shit work way 2 often.

I always like to go offlane pudge solo to sap exp. i think he works great as a support too. He doesnt need farm only exp and kill, much like a legin commander, as soon as you get 6 roam around for squishies and get fat from passive. I usually get 6k hp with a rushed heart if everything goes well then they cant kill me. I like to buy wards too, new meta guys.

He is a shitty offlaner, no escape, 0 armor, no fallback on anything.

he rekts any dual lane with an omni

@Potato Any melee hero with some aoe works well with omni. Axe, Undying, Slark. Pudge is just a "wannabe skill hero" imo.

Pudge is one of the best space creaters in the game. Most of the time you are killing someone and even if you don't kill them and get counterganked, you have so much HP they will spend a lot of time killing you, all the time your team is doing something useful. At least they should be. But most players don't know how to use that space given to them so it's a waste of time trying to play a ganking mid really.

i hate laning against a good sf as pudge i feel like i have to stop him early or he will be unstoppable but sometimes i end up feeding instead and he gets probably even more unstoppable than he would be if i just sapped exp

vs a good sf just go for runes. inv/haste and hes dead. try to push him off his upperground, or the ultimate hook trick, just go from runa to his upperground, in close range, and stop hook animation a few times. this is hard to dodge. when you see the right moment, dont stop it.

Rod of Atos slow with it's ridiculous 1200 is now matched by the hooks ridiculous 1300 range.

If your bad at hooking but like pudge... do that, or better yet have a SKW or necro get it for you.

And honestly, even if you are good at playing pudge, rod of atos slow is really slow. You wont miss.

One of the shit that people have hard time dealing with is when you are playing mid and you just walk at the person with rot, then he will probably try to back off without fighting back and then you just hook him, because its nearly impossible to dodge that shit

Basically everytime some ranged/squishy hero walks up to close to you, you should just walk on him and get that kill

Also roaming pudge is even funnier, because they dont know where you are - you might be wherever, unlike if you are mid, then they usually know where you are/might be

Pudge is one of the few heroes I actually enjoy playing, shit never gets boring and its something different unlike heroes that have targeted spells

I stopped complaining about Pudge pickers when I began helping them get kills. I mean, it was some sort of revelation. Then the enemy team would flame in all chat calling the Pudge player a wannabe noob who could only get hooks because someone else stunned for him. (Dota2 is obviously a single player game)

It's always an ez win when they do that.
