Mmmm I don't remember when they did it, but yeh it has been removed. Long story, and not really forum appropriate.
Yeah, that was weird. This was the thread:http://www.dotabuff.com/topics/2015-01-12-were-giving-away-two-free-months-of-lessons-from-our-top-coaches-for-science
Mods deleted the thread and silenced Pajama (http://www.dotabuff.com/players/33002106), who started the thread, but the discussion between Melody and the other dude (which presumably triggered someone to contact the mods) was unrelated. We're just assuming it was a misunderstanding, and have contacted the mods to ask them to unsilence Pajama.
I suggested that an actual coach should start the thread as seeing results of success would bring more attention, and another member flamed me because he thought I had made that comment at him (Was actually Pajama, however he's really defensive so he assumed it was him). He said something or other about me, so I whistled back once. I'm sure he kept persisting but I left the conversation after that.
Dont know why they silenced him.
Nah dude, lol DB's stuff is pretty good, they're refusing to develops areas that the community needs lol. I fully support purchasing plus and improving the website.
@Pajama

Uh... it was a guy advertising a site and I suggested getting a coach to make the post due to his low ish stats, and then another poster got SUPER defensive about his stats thinking I was addressing him.
I am sure it turned to fire after what I commented and I'm sure that there is lots of from that defensive guy but I didn't mean to turn the thread to fire, it just happens. He and I just disagree too frequently which is why I think he assumed I was mentioning him but yeah sorry OP about your thread. Literally not what I intended. Kids are just way too fucking defensive I guess lol.
I do however also not see a "@melody" thread, so yeh, js.

@ Mods
Can you please change the wording on this.
This is extremely misleading, unless it is what it says... meaning that you need to be subbed to be able to be ranked. (I know it's not, and that top 100 players can see their rank or w/e I think) HOWEVER, it makes it sound like your pool of players which you are drawing from is literally "professionals" and subs, which would mean that it's kind of worthless as far as ranking goes which could possibly draw from sales or w/e.
Can you just make it "to see your rank", which is better imho and is FAR more clear.
Thanks~
Mel~
