The boy is dedicated, cause he believes. If you believe, then you can follow your dreams.
it just shows that even a retard can have 6k MMR. Unless his name is BOGI, then shit goes down.
congrats! that's actually a sick climb you did in the last 24 hours
go play on NA for leaderboards
Look, a 6k player who posted screenshot of his MMR. Blunt, where is your trash talk now, cyka blyat?
Gratz
Just a reminder for everyone that believed http://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/2qzdcb/i_am_the_believer_boy/
Congrats @ OP for obtaining 6k without spamming troll/meepo/sniper/slark/earth/etc.
I'm actually thinking of doing the same cuz ww is broken right now and everyone just wants to pick troll/sniper/axe
oracle is stupidly broken but the problem is that your teammates has to understand how he works for him to do well, kinda like wisp
WP good sir, WP. I dunno, I personally am tired of trying to grind MMR simply because it kinda forces you to pick certain heroes and such and I feel like it takes away the pleasure of the game. Picking Juggernaut/Troll/Axe every single game almost gave me cancer.
oracle didn't get nerfed last patch, and i don't think he will be
ww might be but until then it's probably a good mmr boost
Oracle has always been massively strong, I have had a lot of success playing him in stacks but very little playing him in solo. The team has to know how the hero works and how they can utilize the spells he has for him to be effective which at low 5K very few do.
I think from 5.5 onward Oracle starts showing up a lot more and people are more aware of his effect in games so are able to use his ability to play extremely aggressive (like jussi said) much like the wisp can.
Yeah, it's pretty sad when you ult someone as oracle and they just run away instead of continue to fight (especially when it's a carry with lifesteal).
the thing about those good support heroes is that you need to have decent allies, otherwise you're better off solo carrying the game
since i'm from the states i don't play on eu often and this really sucks because you get to play with 4k and low 5k players unless it's us east prime time. most of these players will have 0 map awareness and just run in/die while afk farming. i don't think it's a coincidence i won 80% of my games with jugg last patch (even jungling and winning games 1v5 while my mid lost and my safelane fed) and once i started picking support my mmr dropped like 250~ points.
i am most certainly not picking support if i queue us servers, and as much as i like the lower ping, i'm in no mood to play sniper/troll over and over again here so what the OP did looks like a great alternative if u don't want to have a miserable time in solo matchmaking
oh lawl, OP's thread got downvoted on reddit
welp
at least you'll find solace here
Congratz dd , dont listen to the shits saying u "abused" oracle , if someone climb with the shittiest hero they will say he abused, good luck to 7k , ill follow u soon to 6k :)
Thank you everyone :)
Also on Oracle, I've honestly never seen anyone pick Oracle consistently. I rarely have Oracles in my team unless that's me, and if I have Oracle against me, that's like a freebie.
When you're gonna gank someone when Oracles on the other team, carry god damn detection boys!
When did you start playing ranked, where did you calibrated and how long did it take you to get here?
Also, congratulations :)
I started playing ranked like ~three weeks - month after it got introduced. For some reason I was afraid of losing my so nicely calibrated 3500 mmr.
Thanks. :)
Is there any advice you could give to people trying to climb? (for example scrub like me lol)
e: or could i possibly add you to spam you even more? c:
The best advice I can give would probably to realize it's you to improve, not your team-mates. Now I'm not judging you, but most people blames their team-mates for their loss.
For very high skilled players they can usually say and feel their mistakes after most games and go from there, but not everybody can meaning you might want to watch replays of yourself. (I guess it would be better to watch replays of loses, as in wins you usually stomp and do things correctly thus the win!)
Also, when you grow in mmr in quick sessions, like you winstreak from 3500 to 3900, then you drop back to 3500. Most people are tilting real hard at this point, but if you're smart you take these games as a bottle of salt! When you grow in mmr then lose, you should learn.
I'd say you learn more from loses. This is why you usually see people climb in jumps. You go from 3500 to 3900, drop to 3600 and streak to 4100. Now there's to see if you can play there consistent, maybe you drop 50 and go up another 100.
Play heroes you love. Wether it be support heroes or not, but the thing you can climb up with heroes you're specially good with and drop is a very good learning experience.
I'll might edit and add more.
