control panel > Networking and sharing center > adapter settings > "rightclick" disable wireless connection.
Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings > Press and release Alt" > "shows new toolbar" Advanced > Advanced Settings > put the lan on the top over the wireless
Either of those two might work.
Thx Havoc. The second trick didn't work at all. I found that on Google too. Press and release Alt did nothing for me.
Disable wireless connection worked for me.
I owe you one.
Wow, what a solution. Instead of removing the connection havocs solution is to turn it off.
10/10
Unless he's using the wireless connection disabling it is probably the way to go if he can't figure out how to prioritize the connections.
Krazy did you go here? That way you can change priority order.

My internet went out a few days ago, so I tried to use my wireless to get on my neighbor's connection. It worked.
My connection was restored the next day, but now my PC connects to the wireless connection every time I restart it.
I can disconnect from the wireless connection and it switches over to lan ok, but it is pissing me off.
Google has not been my friend for this one.
Windows 7.
Any advice?
