LoL is a high speed dota.
You need much more twitch reflexes there, its a different kind of game even if its still a moba. You see some pros in dota do some wicked sick juking/dancing? Yeah the non-pros but high ranked there do that easily. No turn speed there and extremely short cooldowns make it a rapid game.
Dota has more depth and more strategy to it as opposed to LoL. Thats why people like it? Various strategies like push/turtle/deathball and more punishing gameplay.
But that doesn't mean LoL is easy. You people bragging about going to LoL and getting 30-0-20 scores is like LoL players coming over and crushing 2k going 30-0-20 and saying its easy.
Pls don't be some little kid and use your brains a bit people.
Twitch reflexes? every single mechanic in lol is simplified to the point that even people who only played candy crush before can go there and feel like they're good, wich is what happens, its so casual that it managed to attract ""gamers"", you know, those who are pro at farmville and the sims, wich is a huge crowd that cant get into any other game due you know, the basic brain and motor skills required to be succesfull at a FPS or anything that requires more than grinding, lol is the COD of the mobas.

Heres a comparison. Dota is tennis, lol is pingpong. Tennis is harder to learn, but does that mean its easy to good at pingpong? Ping pong is a somewhat simplified version of tennis but because of that, reflexes and speed become far more important than other aspects that would've made you a good tennis player.
Its also why lol players always complain dota is 'slow'. Because to them, IT IS. They feel hampered by turn rates and the long stuns.

Not teasing people for playing it, but it seems very campy. It seems like someone was like Dota is too violent and has too much blood, we need a kid friendly version with funny looking heroes and seems more funny than cool.
Like lego batman or star wars. More kid friendly than joker burning someone alive on their money.
