Spirit Breaker - Importance of skill in General Discussion

I get that overall skill points allocation usually is based on the situation but since this hero is totally new to me, I really need to know which skill is important to get leveled first. (I fail terribly on most attempts to play this hero)

My opinion : Greater Bash is the most important skill since it is the foundation to Charge of Darkness and Nether Strike. Having a decent point into this means more damage on your charges and ultimate plus, there is an extra stun time. Next is the Charge of Darkness due to the lower cool down time as well as higher stun time. Lastly is the Empowering Haste as it is mostly useful for survival and extra ultimate damage.

However, a friend that I frequently play with often say that Charge of Darkness and Empowering Haste is more important and I should just forget about Greater Bash. Perhaps some light could be shed so I could really understand on how this hero works.

My MMR is speculated around 2.2K (Still TBD but did some math after playing a ranked party match). And I play public matches most of the time due to the fact that I'm a noob.

There is either a 4-1-1-1 build or 1-1-4-1 build into 4-1-4-1. Maxing 2nd first is never worth it with. Whats 12% movement over your stuns/bashes?

I personally prefer 4-1-1-1 because you have a reliable stun and sometimes get to use it twice thanks to the travelling time. Some people max bash because of Ulti but thats only an additional reliable 0.6 second disable versus 2.4/4.8.

      Giff me Wingman

max e over q, skilling ultimate standard at 6, 11 and 16 and start skilling w last, at 9+ levels.

I always ran bara like that and i luv it.

It depends on your team comp. your role matters too (sb is often played as a 3-4), the amount of pressure you want to put into enemy lanes matters too. 1-1-4 builds are not that great if your team doesn't have a proper lockdown and 4-1-1 ones lack damage in favor of more mobility and a more reliable disable.

I just press Q and go jerk off when I play SB

            Pom Pom 🍕

Since the change to his charge it feels much better to max it first, since you can very often use it twice in a gank. Especially if you play him as a support/roamer you won't be bashing a lot with his passive since you lack treads and mom (if even going it) for a while. As an offlaner it might be worth levelling his bash more since you'll get some more farm to get attack speed for it.

His aura is best as a value point early, just remember to activate it (a lot of people seem to forget he has that active and never uses it).

I assume that the hints given are when SB is level 7. I normally go for 3-1-2-1 or 2-1-3-1, is that good enough for a good balance between mobility and damage?

Thank you guys, my friend still strongly disbelieve in prioritizing third skill. But at least I learned some from the forums.

Yes max third skill, its bara's fuel much like storm's fuel is overload for dps.
