if u feel like u need it, u probably play this hero in some rly weird way. manfighting phoenix is absurd, u shouldnt take physical damage at all in early game stage.
well actually if u feel like it worked, then it worked, and thats what u need, no matter what the usual builds/ways of playing this hero are.

Had an awesome game with phenix just threw a stout shield at slarks face in the early stages
