such was a stable meta back then, stable enough I don't remember anything being top pick
I remember when I started this game and it felt like every game had furion and tbh it took a long time before it didn't feel that way.
To this day I still hate that hero.
No best patch currently, if icefrog didn't touch juggernaut and sniper when tinker was nerfed then maybe its the best meta we can get.
The most balanced patch was 6.38 ^^ haha

There is no best patch, there will be no best patch , this is the thing that kept me at dota , this patch is the worst cuz the op heroes have low skill cap and strong at all the stages of the game , everyone love different strategies and different heroes , imo the best patch was the ti3 meta , but its not the best patch for rat haters , this patch is the best patch for people who love turtle and late game , dont let ur eyes dellusion u with the posts , some people do love this patch alot , some dont , just like ti4 patch, some people hated it and posted alot of hate to it, i didnt hate it , every patch will bring new meta heroes and new strats , imo the best of a patch is the first month , whete the heroes r not discovered yet , even till 3 months till all the good heroes to get discovered , sniper and troll were considered shit at the beginning of the patch , so the best patch is the patch that YOU like the most , for me its ti3.

Anything that gets me out of this hidden pool trench with no courier for 20 minutes and techies that goes safe lane of course matched up with no skill requiring axe/jug picks.
