Because of "swing" whenever you win you get extra (hidden) mmr added to your real mmr and or group.
I think there is something wrong with MMR.
If I win 10 games I only find retard ally for the next 10 Games.
If I lost 10 games I only find normal ally for the next 10 Games.
After a very LONG win streak from 2914 MMR to 3570mmr, suddently I lose +/- 200 mmr, I had only stupid allys EVERY DAMN GAMES !
I tried very hard and couldn't win, my ally alway threw games.
Once I loose the 200 mmr, suddently I found games with normals allys and win again +/-200mmr.

Because by winning you get positive karma.
The more positive karma you have the more likely you are to lose (to break even).
Therefor you should play ranked, once you get a winstreak you play unranked for fun.
Once you lost your karma will be even and you can go Ranked again.

xaxaxaxa, you know, yesterday I wanted to try this and i was like "wtf i'm so dumb it will not work".
I will try it tomorow, I have a 8 win streak.

So I just came fresh off my longest win streak yet - 15. It was great to see the entire dotabuff front page full of wins. Then the inevitable loss finally comes and its a 20 min gg. Oh well I guess the good times can't last forever!
