I guess it makes sense if you're facing a lot of barbs. Most of my losses were against either:
a) Giant decks: Giant + Hog, Giant + Musketeers, etc.
b) Hog cycle with Elixir collectors
c) Royal Giant + Spells
lmao.. i tend to lose against giants as well (either ranged or meele) esp giant + hog. it's quite easy to deal with any other combo though (f.e. giant + mage, just drop the barbars right behind the giant into the mage, 1 hit the mage nad proceed to fuck the giant)
I don't think its physically possible to get 3k fast, I've watched TV Royale replays from people with 2600-3000 trophies and they don't play differently - they just have much better cards.
You need to either donate or play a shitton to get the same value because you are competing vs people who have lvl 10 commons and 7-8 rares at 2600-3000.
pokemon shit as game, like you've accidently made a double input earlier while teaching bubblebeam, which actually saves you some time (we're talking about 50ish frames here), and then your muscle memory decides you fuck you up and just go down once while overwriting that shit ass move, fuck sub 200, ill nver get it
it's really fun seeing games that are lost in 10th min but being forced to play another half an hour to be taunted by shitlords who get carried by some moron when everyone goes full retard and feed him

I have exactly 2000 trophies right now (maximum was 2400, with the same deck I posted before).
I've lost points after trying to build second Hog deck (tried Freeze / Elixir Collectors) as well as playing with Royal Giant (lvl 7 atm).
How are you doing Spunki / Allison?
im at 2.1 right now, and i'd recommend you to pick up the royal giant if you can (i don't have him yet) he's just op as fuck

Why would you pick Bomber over Mage?
i'm not a big fan of the mage.
a) mage costs 1 more (not a lot, but enough)
b) u have musketeer to take out all air units (for minion shit you can use zap/fireball and 1 shot them)
c) idk wether mage does the same amount of dmg as bomber, but you can pretty much 3 hit barbars/1 hit any group of units.
also musketeer has a really high range and can easily deal with an enemy mage/baby dragon + you can easily get 5-6 hits off on a tower
