I'd like to know when to get a glimmer cape on witch doctor in particular.. I usually arcane->aghs rush, and build it after that if necessary. I am tempted to get it before aghs, but will that delay too much? Thoughts?
Ive read somewhere that glimmer cape replaces force staff but idk, not a fan ._.
It's pretty good.. more affordable, lower cooldown, as an escape mechanism its better imo saved my scrub-ass so many times.. if you need mobility meh not as good.
I usually build glimmer on my position 5 supports, guys who don't necessarily need items for themselves but offer utility for the team (dazzle, lion,WD, cm).
Glimmer is OP on supports. I usually consider it as a scape mechanism for allies and a way to deal with AOE Magic damage (fuck you lesh). For example lesh is on an enemy team, and your gyro is dropping his ult and being focused. Glimmer allows him the chance to survive a bit of magical damage and teenage or disengage.
On cm and WD it's Amazing substitute for bkb or shadow blade (you can disassemble and get shadow blade later if necessary). It gives you magic immunity, and if your positioning is decent you have a fairly decent chance of getting max duration ult in a team fight.
Basically, consider it as a second or third item before agh a if game isn't going good because it allows excellent magic resistance for your cores and gives your team the chance to engage or disengage without having your cores buy shadow blades.

Typically if I'm playing support I'll pick up a glimmer cape after finishing a wand, a pair of boots and something like an urn or a force staff depending on the hero I'm playing and what else is being built.. I find it to be useful in teamfights, but other than that because of my skill level no one I play with properly utilizes the invisibility so I'm wondering if I should just hold off on acquiring one until late game or not.
