He was the second most picked hero at TI5 main event, how is he underrated? Low level players not being able to play certain heroes doesn't mean they are underrated.

I'm not talking in the competitive scene, he's picked very few games per dotabuff statistics.

Yes because as I already said he is hard to play and boring.

Also BKB is not needed against that team, almost all their disables go through it.

What? Winter's Curse obviously goes through BKB, Berserker's Call always did. Huskar ulti also does and that's like all the shit they have.

I didn't play really when winter was added, I knew all the rest did. I figured with winter & arrow you would need BKB. No reason to go into attack mode vs. a scrub lol I'm not even arguing with you.

Plus a lot of Huskars damage is from burn

He's very good offlane vs melee carries. If they pick spectre or AM insta pick that shit. I didn't have any issues last hitting under tower with gyro against him though even with his crappy range cus his animation so good.

Picking dark seer against AM is just asking to get rekt

That may hold true to good AMs but lower skilled AMs don't go know how to play, I just pushed him under tower and farmed their jungle which slowed down his farm being lower skilled aka bad at last hitting under their tower

I love picking ds offlane against melee carries.

Not sure about high levels with lots of tri lanes but I'm not that scared of am. Plus if lucky aggressive duo offlane with ds is fun and money. Although if they have Earthshaker DO NOT DO IT!!!

This is from a low low 4k player not sure about about 5k plus but dude got major run in ti.

Why would AM beat DS? AM can't last hit under pressure from double ion shells and seer can just sprint away if he gets blinked. AM's base dmg isn't that high either to last hit well under towers.

Dark Seer will get blown up by a mana void

DS at level 6 will have about 800 hp and like 550 mana. A level one mana void from AM will do maybe 275 dmg after magic dmg reduction. That's not exactly a huge nuke, as long as seer can get his sprint off he can just run to safety.

And on top of that seer should be higher level and on top of that, I would much rather have AM get little to no cs for first 6 levels then kill me once than live whole time letting him free farm. It's a good trade.

DS doesn't give AM trouble in the lane, but rather mid to late game because of how strong his illusion is.

Dark Seer is one of the few heroes I cringe when I see him picked by the enemy. Mostly because I never bothered learning to play against him and simply responded by picking Lich or Huskar.

dark seer is good if u play 5 vs 5 in pub when you have coordination. cause all the ability of darkseer is like combo wombo.

if u play solo? fucking no no.

case-to-case basis but 1 support disable and level 2 mana burn on AM can make things really hard for DS

Dark Seer mid totally destroys certain mids, make them try to last hit early under tower, pushes wave in. You can surge to runes and never realy have to leave when u get soul ring bottle mid. Very good vs heroes like wr, invoker, storm. Slow movement speed mids without boots early on and u just outfarm the shit out of them mid and eventually take their tower if you play it correctly. Not really that great vs SF mid since he can just raze the waves.

You can get mek with bottle boots magic wand and soul ring around 11-12 minutes and maybe a kill if u get level 6 wall of replica.
