I have 1 commend for every 5-6 games. But my MMR is shit. I would say, MMR.

I would say MMR. The higher you get up to, people become more salty. Enemies won't give you commend, no GG and just leave as soon as game end or trash talking back. Your teammates think they are star player ; obviously the team would win so no commend for you.. and as same time winner trash talking to the losing team... So I would say MMR for player gameplay.

i didnt even know commends are any important for someone tbh
mmr gives a rough overview of one's skill, but you can't say anything about his(her) ability to communicate with people, be friendly and polite, etc.. however Id say you wont be able to judge that basing on the amount of commends, too.
