It makes sense that the hero will be super strong with the extra camp. oov doesn't seem fair for those squishy supports.

Why not? AOE gold wasn't changed so you still want to fight as much as possible early. Also with Vanguard+Treads pretty much no one can kill you or force you out of lane and you can farm the jungle forever. You might delay your BF timing by 2-5 minutes, but it makes farming up a BF way more stressless, riskless and flexible and you'll hopefully create a lot of space for yourself to capitalize on with BF.
for laning stage RoH plus stout is more than enough.
No matter what the gold mechanics are, you dint want to sacrifice farm in order to participate in early engagements as AM; and ot's always been this way.

He's also fucking invincible with that thing and can just run at people which is very valuable. It's not like you sacrifice your split pushing for vanguard, in fact it helps you split push a lot, as you can't get solo killed with str treads for most of the early-mid game.
wk upgrade is useful for everyone because it is easier to keep lane equilibrium and in the same time maintain ur HP een if you are harrassed by the offlaner
Vanguard is such a waste of money please... OoV is obviously broken now twith the change but getting a vanguard is honestly such a waste of time and farm. New jungle item is pretty dope tho, is it disassembleable? If yes then man what an item.
@Reese: What is so bad about one or two early stats points? Is that not the difference between having one or two stuns and ultimate? Or is it more efficient to get those points with a magic wand or similar stat item?

So Vanguard is now purchasable in the side shop and OoV works on him too (and it's ridiculous), and with Iron Talon you can casually gulp down the side pull camp every time you push the wave. I'm pretty sure that's his new meta early game build, whether you go for bf, manta or vlads afterwards. Also his counters PA, Huskar and Doom, were nerfed to absolute dogshit, there are 2 more camps on the map, Zeus is now going to be super popular and spell casters/int cores in general got large buffs. I'm pretty sure he's the go to hero for mmr farming this patch.
