imma tell u somethign about high skill.
Friend of mine played like 4000 h of League of Legends. He goes to dota, has about 100 matches plaed only for fun. he doesnt know jackshit about mechanics. he didnt know aa ulti stops healing, he has never played with a chen or ench on his team. he switched to dota and plays around 15 games a week. in about 3 months he gained his way to 4,2 k mmr with ease.
Now he knows but at the start he didnt know jugger spin make magic dmg immun. he doesnt know JACKSHIT about the game, which spells pierce BKB etc etc. he just picks a midder he likes, outlasthits his opponent and goes gank. good at estimating dmg output and when to go / when to backoff.
Now he made it from 2200 MMR to 4200 MMR and therefor passed 'normal skill' and 'high skill' bracket and is now in vhs.
Dotabuff claims he has VERY HIGH SKILL.
That should tell u how meaningless this title truely is.
