ive won ultra late with wraith king vs void, tinker etc. the lategame depends A LOT on supporting cast. lion, nyx, tide, es etc fall off when you get bkbs then come back STRONG at 50 minutes when everyone has a shitton of survivability and only 5 sec bkbs
tinker will do more damage but is more vulnerable, void is way better at dealing with getting disabled/silenced
I mean raw 1v1, like that game of the day thingy.
I doubt anything can really beat void in straight up 1v1 fight. UNless he gets initiated on by Tinker, Earthshaker, AM, these heroes.
Void cannot do anything to morph, while tinker simply cannot bring down a fully farmed pudge/bristle/huskar mb am and viper. So they are not even close to being the Ultimate 1-1 killers
Terrorblade is also terrible in 1v1 in ultra late game. Void can't kill him fast : he has too much armor...

full 6 slotted sven with over 9k armor can stand against void if we speak of 1v1 which is actually meaningless in dota 2
A) 1v1 is stupid, since 1v1 never happens in a real game
B) 1v1 discussions completely depend on who initiates anyway. Tinker with sheep spam can e-blade, dagon, rocket, laser spam rearm and finish off anyone 1v1 if he gets hex off first. Likewise void will annihilate anyone in chrono if he gets it. Likewise chaos knight will 1 shot most people if he has his ult up and rifts them. Hell, even PA can 1v1 most people if she first hit bashes into an abyssal stun. 3.4 seconds is plenty of time for her to kill someone with crits.
1v1 is still fun, you can try arcade game Dota 2 Duel 1v1 if you got nothing to do. It's quite fun, but it's quite boring to spam void XD
At least you get to test your skill regarding item builds to counter specific heros (by spamming void 1v1).
whoever gets the jump will always win 1v1, you can go sheep abyssal refresher with almost any hero and kill most people, only exception is a wraith king and even then some builds can do it (double necro w/ refresher, sheep, abyssal)

Yeah, but both sides can do it. Much like both sides can ward the map, and both sides lose their gems for 10 minutes if they die.

Its more not who gets the jump first, but who puts himself in a better position to jump on someone. Sounds more interesting, doesn't it?
theres nothing stopping me from hiding in well with doom and only coming out when they come into vision of my wards to atos (pop linken) blink sheep doom people with aether lens
Noone is stopping them from smoking with gem and dewarding everything, if you're stuck in your base like that either.

Terrorblade is 1v1 king. He can beat ck easily(linken's, skadi, manta, assault, daedalus, and satanic), rapes spectre, slark, wk, lifestealer, dusa, am, alchemist, and ursa. Beats slark easily if slark doesnt run away. Beats void too. Once you have diffusal and linken's sphere, tb can easily beat sven.

AM is actually really good. Like, he can always get the jump on you with his 5 second blink.
and then why would you get 3 butterfly? Especially since you have bloodthorn. I am sure Manta instead of a butterfly would mean more DPS
the build is retarded anyway, in most games you would probably need bkb, also nobody makes 3 hearts

Faceless void on 1v1 Duel Mode gets countered by TINY (trust me he will get like 2 hits and he's stunned most of the time trying to hit u.
Another FACELESS VOID, if someone picks fv against u pick it too, then you won't freeze on its chronosphere and then his chronsphere is useless.
another wise thing to do is to get blink and hex and burst him with eblade dagon and refresh it.
I've also seen a tanky druid with his bear with eblade to eblade druid or fv to stop the attack and then hex and kill fv.

Naturally you can just change one butterfly to BKB and one butterfly to boots or manta, or a Refresher.
Don't need more crit cause Bloodthorn gives you 100%.
With enough attack speed and damage you won't be able to kill a PA coz she does to much damage to quickly, you could die in 1 or 2 hits. You can't go 1v1 against a spectre you will always get the short end of the stick. Going up against a full agility morphing is insane as he will hit you so hard so fast you won't even have time to piss your pants.
If you get chrono off first, you will beat any single one of these carries though. Possibly with exception of Morphling, but I doubt it.
Consider Refresher orb for Double Chronosphere too.
Legion Commander is best? Blaidmail, with whatever items you chose (prob Heart/Satanic cuz most people would just build DPS, and you would need health)

Try giving MoM to void with 5 late game items. You got no chance if he jumps you. He duznt need chrono even. Just try it. I tried it on 7 slotted spectre and he killed her. Without MoM or chrono on the void however, 7 slotted spectre can beat void.
If tinker gets the jump, he will perma hex u. What can u do? U wont ever get the chance to activate BKB.
And ofcourse, CK, Sven and PA have the potential to wipe u in the stun duration they have, no matter wat hero u are.
anti mage duznt even come close to these heroes, he just wins games by getting 7 slotted early and ratting.
Doesn't bkb AND linkens combo kinda counter him hard though? I mean using BKB the moment linkens pops.
But hex is instant cast (unlike ethereal) so if you instantly click ethereal and then hex, hex will be blocked by the linkens XD or no?
However pretty sure you can buy Rod of Atos just for that, or use your Q, or Dagon...
I wonder why people still think tinker is the best 1-1 hero. Pick bristle, give him heart, octarine, pipe, halbeard, pt, bm (realistic items), then try to burst him from his back (competent bristle will always turn his back to tinker). No matter which items u have u cant kill him.
dota duel 1v1? then go for shadow shaman. his mass serpent wards stays on the map and doesnt reset. just do the first initiation tho
Theoretically against bristle tinker could just build a Silvers edge. Then he blink, Hexes, Silver's, Dagon, laser, rocket, rearm, repeat. Might even be worth getting silvers on tinker vs a bristle in a real game if he's enough of a problem.
If we take initation out of the equation and just have two people clicking on each other until one dies, I think troll wins. But in the real world, whoever gets the initiation usually wins a 1 vs 1.
troll doesn't win if we remove initiation, void, slardar will probably proc bash before troll, and then perma bash him
Lets say, if we remove initiation, Troll, Slardar and Void can all win, its purely down to who gets a bash first XD.
