Your calibration is based on your performance. You need to have good stats in-game, but also do try to play for the team. If you get placed in VHS early, you can keep winning and improve your hidden MMR till calibration.
IIRC, there is a cap on MMR, but you can surely calibrate 4k+ if you deserve it.
You can't calibrate 4k but you can start at 4k hidden mmr[normal matchmaking]

if i log in internet shop for example and there players who has 5 to 6k mmr and i make a smurf is there a possible that i can calibrate 4k+mmr cuz many told me that valve can detect the higest mmr in that i.p is this true?
