yes it does, like any other game. does it matter? no
but if you actually belong to that bracket, then you don't have to worry even if you manage to get 30 games in a row with people who feed couriers, because you'll always go back up.
anyways, that being said:
if you're an NS who cheated into VHS, don't worry about it. during the calibration you'll drop back down.
and if you're an VHS, who got unlucky to drop to NS, you'll go up during the calibration.
tldr games before ranked calibration don't matter
