i was planning to do it first because of departure (one of the best game music imo) but i guess ill start with mmz3 first for continuity (i think i got halfway through 2 last time i played)

ive always had a strong dislike for the first game of any series (FF1, MM Classic, Tales of Phantasia, gen 1 pokemon, etc) because i feel theyre too unpolished and that the sequels are direct upgrades to them
