All the dota allstars players i know who havent come to dota call the positions a werid way (tank,mid,jungle,carry,support) and they would werid roles to heroes like offlane spectre and calling her a good "tank" hero !!!
And when i say "support" i mean omni, basically every game there's an omni and a dazzle in each team + sf ofc first picked by server mod always

They call huskar "user" which means op
They call chaos knight "choz nayt"
They refuse playing any map further than 6.85 (and they dont play that one often their default is 6.83)
timber maxing reactive on certain lineups is just disgusting
went against a tide + nyx vs me solo on my smurf
their attacks healed me roflmao
Tank is interchangeable with Frontliner.
Get your head out of your asses theres nothing wrong with using that term.
tide axe timber. in some cases sk can get pretty tanky. maybe even abaddon.
dont think u want bristle as tank in the offlane tho he is a traditional dota tank. doesnt offer much aside from being tanky lol.
having a tank/frontliner in dota is good if u like to pick them into lineups with those nasty backliners like sniper and drow, or ppl who take advantage of the chaos, sneaking in and out like mirana and slark. its good to have a tank in many scenarios as they provide vision usually
No it isnt, if you want to actually win against drow, huskar, slark etc. You dont get a hero to soak their damage after theyve gotten freefarm
You pick agressive dual off and shit on their crappy laning phase
