more midas = more win.
really though, midas is so good on so many supports, and then you got aba with +20% xp and stuff.
pick strong laners, then play greedy
Midas is definitely becoming more mainstream, Especially given that we're seeing cores participating in overall more aggresive strategies the midas has the affect of ensuring item progression through hetic mid games.
Agreed that midas gaming is back. Combined with talents, team exp difference will make or break a team fight.
I don't think carries care much, they still hit 25 fast for their uber talents, but supports it seems like more of a must have. So many supports have amazing level 20 and 25 abilities and won't get there without midas. I've built 25+ min midas on silencer support a couple games and do not regret it. Idk how much it boosted me overall, but I had to get force staff first. Rushing midas seems terrible but as a second or third item maybe it's good. I'll have to see how to work it in.
In the average pub with 90 kills per game and close to no high ground defense, i don't think having more than two midas carriers in a team is worth it.
i have won most of my games with early 6 min midas. with the xp talent i could get to 25 in 30 mins.
I have a question about midas, When should I have to build it with a suport? I mean in Which situation, or hero..
Midas is good on pretty much all supports tbh lmao, given it's way harder to go hg and is a lot more dangerous, chances are the game will go on long enough for you to get the benefit. There is no real reason not to buy it as long as you're still buying wards/sents/dust and have another support on your team who is getting utility items first.
i don't like midas very much, requires too much gold
realistically takes 20 minutes to pay itself off
"pay" as in farm ye but xp? worth it. it's like buying all tome of knowledge-s but u lvlup more constantly cd is lower and it gives an okish boost to AS so worth it for sick talent heroes even like wk lvl25
that's the issue, if oyu don't get it early even in on a support it won't pay off because you can't win fights. you need very specific games where you know you'll go lategame.
The problem with midas is that its a 2000 gold opportunity cost. There r a shit ton of items to buy at that price level and all help u indirectly attain levels and gold, by either preventing death (force staff), pushing (vlads), farming (maelstrom), teamfighting (blink) etc. You give up ur early game for the late game, so dont buy it on heroes who dont want the late game, or need a certain set of core items, or cant hold out long enough. Even then i almost always feel like there r better options. Ive only bought midas once on nyx cuz we were so fr ahead i just wanted to get my lvl 20 talent to experiment with eblade.

Midas gaming seems like it's back, I thought with 7.0 talent release midas would become very important as xp became much more valuable but I was wrong as the meta was too fast paced. Now in 7.04 with some changes the meta has slowed down a bit and people have figured out how to defend the high ground with shrines. If you watch DAC games I see mass midas from all teams especially Chinese ones, and in my experience the item seems very strong right now on any carry that benefits from it.
