i've ran a calibration experiment and managed to get a 2k start acc to 4k during hte 10 calibration matches
your existing stats are a base. your performance matters. if it doesnt move much is because your performance is stable
Your first game, you pretty much start at the point of your current MMR. Each win or loss contributes to +250 or -250 MMR. So there is a limit to how much one account can be 'boosted', but it's all up to your performance. That's why calibration is important. The first 10 matches determine where you start out. But there are limits to extremes obviously.

your mmr is predetermined by your existing stats already and stomping in these 10 games doesn't alter your mmr by much
i'd rather they instantly give me a value and so the 10 wins actually give me 250 mmr
its like it solely exists so boosters can charge a premium for these 10 matches
