Running into a problem in the last few days where I am in game and the client starts to lag out and eventually my game crashes. When trying to reconnect a message populates that I'm not able to get back in. After force quitting and restarting the client, the downloads section of Steam populates a "validating" download. Mainly I'm wondering if anyone knows what this is and what is going on here?
The download time log will get as high as 2 or 3 days but the two times it has happened to me it has taken between 10 to 15 minutes. It is frustrating because I was about 5 minutes away from last night and 17/2/7 as Necro when the crash happened which sent me into low prio. I've checked my network settings and it isn't an internet issue but can't find anything clear as far as explanations go.
Any potential fix or explanation would be helpful.
