I noticed from my account that at first you'll get normal skill games (so 1k-2k), then slowly moving to HS and VHS. The last 20 games or so were almost entirely HS/VHS because my win rate was >50% in the normal skill games.

When they move you to HS and you get crushed (like low win rate and poor GPM/XPM and getting reported n shit), they'll move you back down to normal skill.

They have plenty of data to "benchmark" what a 3.5K MMR player's stats should look like, and what a 1K MMR player's stats should look like.
