Not even rtz's fault. Dota is a strategy and tactical game. Not only is crit shit at leading, he can't even give them the upperhand with picks, combos, synergy and so on. He's a zero.

Sven is a game winning carry hero in this tour, letting Reso picking it again after that stomp game 1 was too risky.

EG, Liquid, OG and Newbee are the big 4 for me. If they're all out before the finals, I'll lose interest.
vp-empire finals would be the most nonsense thing ever happening in major dota tournaments, but i think it will be smthng like vp-liquid or vp-lfy; mb even vp-newbee.
I don't think OG is playing bad actually. They barely missed upper bracket in group B and every single group B team won their UB matches. Now that the bo1 scare is over, I'm sure OG can get top 4 at least.

I actually agree with beano for once. Scary. But yes not rtz's fault at all, mostly they had real shitty drafts, bad support play. It's actually the same thing that has plagued eg since their TI win 2 years ago- bad support play, limited hero pools, too much dependence on sumail to go ham.
Which is really weird cus zai and crit are supposed to be like top 5 supports in the world. It's like jerax keeps getting better and those two keep getting worse.
VP's fun to watch so I won't mind if they go far. Even if we don't know any players on the chinese teams or root for them both lgd's are fun to watch. The lfy tnc series was great.
The mediocre drafting wasn't the only problem. Crit's Winter Wyvern kept getting caught first in team fights and rarely landed a winter's curse.
In game 2, there was no respect ban for reso's sven. EG should have gone with some comfort picks, just like reso's sven, because you can overcome your weaknesses with solid execution and initiation, which is what empire did.

I think they did go with comfort picks, they first picks puck for sumail. You don't first pick your mid unless your mid is really asking for it or am I wrong here? And I'm pretty sure np and wyvern were comfort picks too. I mean what's more classic universe than np, aside from dark seer? I'm not sure if rtz plays TB a lot but it's definitely his style of farming hero. But yes they could've easily banned sven, instead lycan and void. Void is so easy to play around, long cd ult and wyvern counters him pretty hard, so do a lot of other heroes, so idk why you ban it. Lycan is an ok ban except they should've left it for rtz to play potentially. He was having success with the hero at TI.
