Confirmed.
What about Dendi?
I don't think he'll ever leave Na'vi. Would be interesting to see if he switched roles, like w33haa. Their current lineup is good so far, with General and Sonneiko. Two more CIS players and they're good to go. Getting EU players didn't help. And whoever gets Resolution on their roster, wins the roster shuffle of this season.
Well Dendi is basically the face of Na'vi, if he's gone Na'vi won't be that popular anymore.
I really would like to see XBOCT playing their pos 1 again but he's their coach, maybe sometime he wants to stop being a coach and actually go back to playing again? Would be great.
Why would they bench Zai? Seems unlogical to me w/e knowing EG he'll be back sometime after a while.
I hear Fear is coming back to the professional scene as EG's new support. Maybe that's why zai left, so crit can move to 4 and fear to 5. Was he a support player before carrying for EG?
i dont think eg wud kick zai
i think zai wud leave on his own
just my personal opinion with no real evidence, a hunch
don't try to make sense of anything on this subject, dota is a weird game pro dota players are just humans and corporations are incomprehensible

That's reeaaallly interesting. Try posting anything relevant to the pro scene and high skill level of Dota, like drafting, and that's the response you get. Yet everyone collectively and endlessly talks about the 'hidden pool' on 17 different posts on the forum.
Hmmm.... Very indraastreeeng...
the more interesting roster imo is the new WG unity:
so they get Meracle, velo and flysolo, which is fine, 3 SEA players.
but then they get Feero and Sqreen?? how do those two Euros get to know the other 3 ever??
Makes you think that about a few other teams as well, during the last season. How few players from US or EU joined SEA teams, or how players disbanded from MVP Phoenix went to not only different teams, but different regions altogether. Even now, the two ex-C9 players joining Fnatic confuses me.
The only thing I can think of is that they scrimmed against each other or lived in adjacent hotel rooms during tournaments, lol.
yeah some of those sorta make sense. ohaiyo and EE possibly talked a lot at TI
but feero and sqreen have not attended any lans that coincided with the SEA players's attendance, so that's rly weird to me.
anyway, there was a "Leak" regarding an SA squad for DC including Black and former Infamous players. Doubt itll happen but could be good for SA to get more traction
Yeah South America could definitely do with that, especially since this region has been so underrepresented for so long, and the fact that arguably the best team from that region, SG esports, disbanded not long back.
http://www.gosugamers.net/dota2/news/45240-sg-e-sports-releases-entire-roster
However, I don't think any region has been so absent from the esports scene, atleast in Dota 2, since the start. Africa's continent as a whole has no professional team on the global forefront. Hopefully, we will see a change in the upcoming season.
TriHard all the way
I think what saddens me most looking at the past season is the fall of ex-DC ex-Thunderbirds ex-Planet Odd roster who have all gone their separate ways. Some have found their way, but I hope players like Moo And Misery find something better than the current situation they're in.
MiSeRy was rumored to go to EG at some point, that could've been dope.
Ultimately, they're all good players. I think they'll find their way
My comment was directed at people trying to understand motivations behind big corporations trading players. It's meaningless, they are on completely different footing than an average dota player.
@Anomalina as far as I know Valve is actually the only major gaming organisation to have servers in South Africa. If they want to promote the growth of Dota 2, the should maybe look to SA. After all people are less likely to play LoL or HOTS at 250+ ping when they can play Dota at less than 30. The only way SA (and places like Aus and the middle east) are held back in Dota 2 is that we don't have local qualifiers for big tournaments. If Valve wants to promote growth in these regions the best way is to host a major or minor in the respective regions with local qualifiers. With the new major/minor system they're implementing it could be possible.
Roster rumours that are most likely true:
OG: Notail, Resolution, S4, Jerax, Fly
EG: Arteezy, Sumail, Universe, Crit, Fear
DC: Mason, Abed, MSS, Bulba, Moonmeander
Secret: Ace, Midone, Fata, Yapzor, Puppey
PPD's new team: Pajkatt, CCNC, Zai, Misery, PPD
Just to make it clear, these are just rumours. However, a few other rosters that have already been announced, such as Fnatic + C9, were also in this list of predictions and so far they have been 100% true.
Remember, you heard it first here, boys!
@TheMaverick427
Can't say much since I don't have a lot of knowledge on the matter, but the article on the link I mentioned does explain some.
w33haa stack looks really good. Him and cancel are friends in real life, as far as I know, probably coz they're both from Romania. Plus there's Saksa who played with w33 on ex-DC. With the other two players, the star power is there, and the potential to be the next underdog team certainly lies with them.
Not to mention, it's refreshing to see w33 switch to the support position owing to the fact that he's not considered to be one of the best mid players in the world anymore. He's definitely up there, but not unquestionably. I think Dendi should take a similar step and play roaming support. Hey, you never know, his prowess with Pudge might actually make him a good roamer.
Predicted this just yesterday when I saw all ex-MVP players left their previous teams and are free agents since the predicted new DC line-up from the leaked rosters showed Febby and Dubu out of the team.
The Korean Overlords are back together! After nearly one year of playing with different teams outside their region, the five ex-MVP Phoenix players are reuniting for the new competitive season.
Roster: QO, MP, Forev, Febby, Dubu
I'm real excited about this!
MVP is back. There goes TNC's dominance over SEA. And they were so happy that they finally shook off Faceless, too. lol
SEA is going to be VERY interesting. Clutch Gamers, TNC, Mineski, FNatic, WG.Unity, Execration, and now MVP is back? Not even going rule out a potential dark horse, like HappyFeet for example. Heavy competition! Hopefully we'll have legitimate challengers from our region come the majors, and TI
Looks like Fear is back. He was always better as a 4 position though. Also OG snatched Reso it seems, very good move.

Yes and that's why I said his position 4 is better so it's unfortunate.
OG and EG roster predictions confirmed.
DC and Secret roster yet to be official.
PPD's new team may not have Pajkatt after all, so the (PJ) acronym previously mentioned may be someone else, owing to the recent news:
The New Alliance Line-upRoster: Loda, Pajkatt, AdmiralBulldog, Akke, Madshka (ex-OG.7Mad)
Very excited for EG.
Mid Reso is very confusing. Since his play style in DC and Empire was a farm oriented core. I don't know if he turns into a tempo controller or OG continues even greedier than before.
He used to play mid before switching to carry for DC. Also, mid is the new position 1. Brotail will always be the sacrificial, space-creating, tempo controller.
I'm very excited for Alliance too. But with all due respect I think they are unlikely to claim any big title. They belong to a distant past when community was smaller and talents were fewer compared to now.
I personally never liked Bulldog as a player because of his small hero pool and rat style Dota, but that's neither here nor there.

This season's roster shuffle news that I found interesting or amusing:
1. w33 to support in new stack feat. Timado, Cancel, Khezu, and Saksa
2. Leviathan resurfaces with familiar names including BananaSlamJamma
3. Fnatic drop 3 and pick up 2 from the ex-C9 roster including EE-sama
Any future predictions?
