actually i think i kept losing because i didnt abuse lion's mana drain. think you should go 3 1 4 1 talent at lvl 10 then max spike and get lvl 2 ultimate at lvl 12. theres really no reason to pick lion just for his impale. his only shining point i see is his map sustain and mana drain and dual disables.

he is pnly good if you run around the map at lvl 2, getting all kind of stuff done for your team. if you cant do that dont pick him, especially not as a safelane support

I'm not very god with the hero myself but I think is very good even as safelane suport , his mana drain is amaizing and alows you to spam the shit out hour stun and hex...if you manage to get some farm and boots , force staff and a ags until min 30 you became very good late game also...you gonna have a 1300 AOE magic damage nuke with 20 sec coldown at level 18. IF only IF you get level 25 ... 3 targets mana drain...you can fuck very easy the enemy team.

@FK Unifi: search for Chuan's Lion games and watch his replays. He was a beast on Lion.
The Only way to do well as lion is to set up a lot of kills early game with your disabled. And make sure u have blink late game to set up ravages without dying.

Yeah idk what happened with lion I used to spam him a lot but these days shadow shaman is just a better option overall
I think i would only pick lion together with legion commander as pos 4 support to nuke people down faster during duel. I did it a couple of times and it works pretty nice.
Dont pick him....all other supports do what he does better than him and provide more in terms of vision/pushing in this early game oriented meta
in the past lion was a better ss....now ss is better cuz of the retarded buffs+ability to force early towers
