bro ur dotabuff is still placing all ur games in normal skill.. so I think it is highly unlikely you'll be placed at 3.5k coz normal skill means ur below 3.2k..

Normal skill is below 3.4k.
Small chance u will calibrate 3.5k.

If this is your first account then calibrating around 2k isn't exactly bad for you.
Just work your way up.
