You can get 3.5k mmr even if you win 0 games.
You can also get 1k mmr even with 10 games won.
You will calibrate low 3k.

if you lose due to bad plays and win due to good ones, it matters.

ppl say it doesnt matter, and it doesnt for smurfs or low skill players, but in example if you are a player between 2-3k mmr, winning 10 will mean you go for 3k+, losing 10 will put you at like 2k something.
