Kill potential!! in General Discussion

How to judge the kill potential of an enemy hero/s during the mid-late game during a fight. It's really tough to decide to whether take the fight or back!

There are habits you have to ingrain into yourself that maximize your advantage.

Such as, checking on the enemy's items very often. If you're running across the map in a safe area for example, why not OCD check the entire enemy team's inventories? You need to make this a habit, to the point where it comes naturally. You should also think about what items they will likely get, you can guess if they have nothing at all and play around it; e.g. slark is farming well getting lots of kills and 12 minutes in he has nothing but aquila, treads, wand, stout, quelling blade -- he should be getting his shadowblade in a few minutes, or at this 12 minute mark. Now it's time to play around it and expect it, and pay attention to where this person is on the map.

A lot of the awareness of kill potential and such come from just playing a lot, and playing many different heroes multiple times.

Don't forget to also check the enemy team's levels, and compare them to you and how strong you are, relative to them.

It becomes a sort of muscle memory, when you gather all of this info your subconscious does the work for you and gives you instinctual prowess.

Generally know if ur a squishy support u'll die to 3 razes

          aside from cooldowns and items,

look at the 3 lanes equilibrium, and what heroes are showing. that will often inform u if the enemy team is out of position. or in position. sometimes it is easy to tell like when all the enemy team is missing, you know they are grouping. or they saw you coming into their jungle, u are halfway across the map, 4 of your team is just wondering around without a good initiation. that means the enemy team is in good position, and your team is not.

the longer u take, the more time the enemy team can get into position. the higher the chance of your team taking the bad fight.

Yeah, there's a lot of stuff to say. It's just awareness and being rewarded for not sleeping on the fuckin job.

"Shadow fiend just FUCKING tped top guys. <Thinks to self: HE DOESN'T HAVE TP FOR 60 SECONDS THEN, he does not have a refresher, he has __movement speed , etc. etc. this means it is physically IMPOSSIBLE for him to join this teamfight before it's over!>"

"Go on their team guys!! Shadow fiend just tped top like a fucking retarded shitface and they have the rest of their weak team mid!!"

Always be extracting new information and parlaying this to your team.

              ShiftingSkys

Knowing how much Damage you put out and how much You can hit based on how long it will take for the Enemies to rotate on you. Like robbing a bank. How long do you have before the police show up and how quickly can you do t.

Just think and feel whatever the fuck the hero and their players are capable of

                  Shou

U realize that if ur a weaver and u only have lance aquila wand at 9 min and u just used bugs to take a stack then a fight breaks out between the offlane batrider and his support kunkka and your support jakiro you probably won't be winning it.

You can misjudge things like this too, say your mid shadow fiend tps and kunkka hasn't hit lvl 6 yet, maybe you have a better chance.
