The dangers of playing a hero too much is you start to only know how to do well on that hero. Yes, your other heroes can benefit but they will never be on the same level if you don't maintain versatility. It is the quickest way to gain mmr, but also could result in a death trap. That's why I'm starting to learn to be more versatile.
If you have taste of most of the heroes in the game spamming a hero is the easiest way to grind mmr, you learn all ins and outs of the hero and you will learn to read each situation better with the hero, Tinker seems really good this patch, you should spam Tinker

i have been 4k palyer for 1.5 year where 9 months i was in 4600 mmr range
but 1.5 year before i made smurf calibrated at 3500 mmr and im now 3800 mmr
