No, it never was a trend, the reason he picked armlet up was that he dominated the lane so hard, armlet would make him emphasize on the huge networth difference by allowing him to get super early rosh and than manfight their entire team. That still wasn't considered good item on her

no it is no longer a thing, they nerfed the armor that it gave and increased the hp cost, so it isnt as value of a pickup anymore.
it wasnt unique to agi carries, basically every hero that got ahead in the laning got the item for a while due to how much it gave for so little, it was safer back then so why not. (see sumail on windranger, for example.)
Eh I’ve memed slark armlet, and want to try morph armlet. Slark armlet was okay, kind of funny but delayed his important items too much
Sniper armlet wasnt a joke, if you followed different regions you would know that it was a thing in chinese doto i believe, no memes. Armlet pa was also a thing they arent good now but before they were a thing.
