if this is normal skill game we are talking about then i have no idea (maybe buy shadow blade, since i heard that ni low mmr invis wins the game) :D in higher mmr games people do not suffer from being glass cannon, they rather enjoy it since they have vision and understanding of the map.
You shit on opponents by being that annoying player who stays behind his team mates and attacks the enemy. Just get better at positioning and you gucci.
What kind of items do you build?
Usually phase boots/treads, pike(sometimes building hurricane pike is a must), maelstorm. The rest situational I would say.
Against the heroes that can close the gap between sniper(say PA pudge, Slark, Spectre etc...) building a force staff is a must(later into pike) solo push if you have an understanding of where the enemy will be, or don't. Don't be that shrapnel spamming fucktard , use it when u can actually kill. I think I usually go treads into pike and maelstrom(mjolnir later) daedalus into skadi/butterfly into defensive item according to game
Force staff is not useful against slark as you cannot force out of pounce. Your best bet is to try your best not to pick sniper in these particular games where they have a slark/legion/spectre, etc. because there isn't much you can do besides out-playing and that's only going to take you so far.
First item Pike is bad
It means ur ultra trash at positioning
U NEED MoM or maelstrom to farm, more than u need a Pike, almost every game
Have you tried buying shadowblade and heart? I doubt you will have trouble then with the combination of an escape and tankiness
HanSolo gets heart on a sniper and build a glass cannon abaddon.

The midget's so slow and soft. I am scared to venture beyond towers knowing that literally anyone can demolish me if they get close. What kind of items do you build? Force Staff is a no brainer, but sometimes that doesnt seem enough. Ghost Sceptre maybe? I just don't feel confident enough to solo farm anywhere. Do I always stick with the team?
