Imo community got better on average and you didint. And you dont play much either. Also you spam core and core only. If you are losing its time to make some changes, stick to 2-3 picks, maybe change position, watch guides.
im +-1k mmr so its gucci. Im around 5k mmr and i expect to drop very, very soon

As Lex said community as a whole compared to one or two years have really improved. Previous legend players and ancient players have dropped to archons and less. If you don't play everyday and try to improve its hard to climb. I'd say harder than ever.
