If you are in archon it isn't important at all. You can check the high pick rate/banned/winrate of heros to get an idea of the meta though. Watching high-ranked solo queue games of heros that you play is probably better for learning than random TI strats.
How important is it of your time ? Why the hell you spend the time to study the gameplay of the tournament? 
Play the game when you get bored. And spend your time for your real life.
