no.
never.
if you want to surrender stand in the fucking fountain and AFK as 5. if your team keeps playing that means the game isn't over.
don't worry, it won't take more than 5 minutes to push your rax if all 5 are afk. and if it does take >5min that means the game isn't over yet.
this button will ruin ranked matchmaking.
most people, particularly in higher ratings, are really concerned about their rating, and the main aim is to rise it. now imagine that there is an option to forfeit the game, and u r losing and have like ~20% to win, and it will take half an hour. the optimal choice is to forfeit this game and go next, and hopefully win it. its... time-efficient.
the introduction of the surrender option will make ppl use it quite a lot, but it will have a huge negative impact on the emotional state of players. the games that you enjoy most, are mostly huge comebacks and long close games, and the share of such games will greately decrease once ff is introduced.
on top, !ff directly contradicts the spirit of matchmaking valve is using. it might be not noob-friend
y, but i like it the way it is.
Now that I think about it people do tend to give up easily and once one guy says no they will gang up on him and talk him down until he is convinced. making them focus on how to abort the game rather than actualy playing it is important and probably is why valve haven't made such thing yet
although` I do think that if one team mate abandoned you should have the ability to forfeit for the sake of 5v4
if a teammate abandons the game, it becomes safe to leave, so you do have the ability to leave the game without punishment, effectively forfeitting.

So I was thinking lately
When you absolutely winning or losing and the game just get boring and the losing team is not motivated .
There should be a "surrender" button like in CS:GO
Where you can just give up already instead of burning your time knowing you're not going to win anymore.
of course that each one of the 5 man team has to agree.
Tell me what you think about it , maybe we can change the game better together.
