why -2 armor for 300 gold when you can have a 12% slow for 275 gold or 20 MS for 250 gold which are more useful

Minus armor is exponentially more useful against low armor heroes btw. If you can get them to negative armor.

Orb of venom and winlace are more superior and cheaper.

Usually inferior to the alternatives as mentioned but u also start running out of slots with wards and smoke and tp and wand and boots etc

It's better on aggressive offlaners , prolly going trilane than a roamer. Also it can get countered very easily when the carry or mid buys their Aquila or some equivalent stat/ armor item.

So I don't see anything wrong with what OP is suggesting. Bigoted dotabuff archon posters and their big egos again. Why spend money on -2 Armour? Why spend money at all? If you're going to be such a hard ass with your money, get a midas. Blight can build into desolator which is good on a lot of roamers.

What's OOV going to do for you? I'd rather get blight and some cheap damage like blade of Attack which can build into phase.

you are talking about roamers. good candidates i can think of is riki, bh, es, pudge, ns, mirana, tusk, and chen. I believe blight stone only suites for ns, chen, tusk, bh. a roaming heroes that normally build medallion early game and then solar crest at mid game. the rest of the roaming heroes prefer orb especially es or riki, because they have slow built in their skills.

by the way DK, Kunkka, OD are among the heroes difficult to gank, very durable....you need silence and combined with stun. (2 roamers maybe for high chance of killing).

Bounty hunter is way too mana starved in the early game to bother with an early blight stone

That was my item build on bh lol for a long time, then I started understanding how much money come to you as track kills and the amount of support items u can buy with it, pretty good lol
